Ed Silvoso with seminary in Bergen

Ed Silvoso is coming to Norway 23-30 sept. 2001 to Bergen. The organization "Pray for Bergen" will arrange a conferenze in the city with the seven mountains west in Norway. Several churches in the city have gone together to pray for revival in the city. After the conferenze a seminary will be held at the University of Oslo during the autumn. A deep research will be done to find out how the cities of Norway should be won for Jesus. The books "That none should perish" and "Prayer Evangelism" will be studied.

Revival report from Norway May 2000  Norsk - Norwegian For the first time ever in the city's history, a Christian call to prayer will ring out over Oslo's rooftops. Permission for a "Hallelujah" cry was granted to Christians following successful requests by Muslims and Atheists. The World Islamic Mission was granted permission in March to call the faithful to prayer from the mosque in Åkergergveien. The Atheist Society was given the go-ahead to shout "God is dead, hell is extinguished" shortly afterwards, but abandoned the practice after one attempt. The Romany preacher, Ludvig Karlsen will proclaim "Jesus lives! Hallelujah!" from the rooftop of the Evangelist Centre in Oslo's Grünerløkka every week.The last monday in May he  appeared for the first time on top of his office building in Oslo, Norway. Shouting "Jesus is alive" three times he wanted to take up the competition with the Moslems in the capital.

The Jewish-American preacher Dick Reuben has had many meetings in Norway during the last weeks. Reuben has been in Norway before. In 1998 he had very big meetings in the biggest pentecostal church in Norway, Filadelfia Church, and many were baptized in water.

This time he had meetings other places. During the easter he was at a congress center at Hamar. The meetings were arranged by the Gospel Center and the Victory Church of Norway. Many people were gathered in the hall belonging to the pentecostal movement of Norway.

Revival  2000 is going on

* The Gospel Center's crusade "Revival 2000" is still reaching many places in Norway. There has been several converts up till now. One souls convert in every meeting, and up till now they have had almost 200 meetings. Then 200 souls are converted. Most of these people have been living in drug abuse, or alcoholism for many years, and they have been a problem for society. Now everything is changed and they serve society. It is a tremendous miracle.

* Svein Magne Pedersen, a healing preacher has traveled the country for some years now. Recently he had a campaign in the village of Bjugn. In one meeting 20 persons were saved. Svein Magne Pedersen is one of the the preachers in Norway praying with most souls right now.
